Flats Fest 2025

September 6th 2025 - Each year since 2022 Low Tide Properties has put on a summer festival at the South Flats area of Mount Pleasant called Flats Fest. The Centre for Digital Media (CDM) opened its doors for the 2025 event to show off the work of some of its tenants and students as well as some of the other local game companies.
Our Contribution
Taking up around 300 sqft of the CDM classroom space, our team showed an expanded form of the display from our CDM x DigiBC event. Apart from the then current state of the Exploded View with some bugs fixed and a slightly better interface, we also re-wrote all of the content for the artifact wall and Digital Twin. In place of the previous 3 projection walls, we utilized 1 projector from the classroom for the Exploded View, 2 black and white tvs for gameplay footage, and 3 color TVs:
- Visualization of the timeline extending beyond the artifact wall
- Playable kiosk for Radical Entertainment developed Mario is Missing! for NES
- Canadian Game Quiz done with Google Forms
