We aim to keep all data housed in Canada, but this is not always possible. We currently utilize Microsoft and Google products to hold some of our data, and some of these services are hosted elsewhere. The Microsoft form that currently accepts emails on our website is hosted in Canada. The intent of this signup is to be able to contact you to notify you of updates and news as is relevant to those interested in the CVGM.

The CVGM also utilizes tools such as surveys and polls in order to better engage the public and inform our direction, as well as to collect anonymous information and statistics to get a better understanding of the public sentiment which may be compiled into reports. These may be hosted by third-party service providers such as Google or Microsoft. In these cases, the data may not be able to be collected through Canadian based servers; as a result, we will attempt to ensure that data collected from these types of tools is anonymous.
